Environmental Protection Division is one of the core technical departments of TSIC. Under the overall development concept of “innovation, coordination, green, openness, and sharing” of the enterprise, the Environmental Protection Division takes the lead in the development of the industry as its mission. At the same time, with mainland China as its hinterland, it has gradually expanded its global business scopes, such as the overseas market of Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Colombia, Algeria and Serbia. Now, more than 300 domestic and international designs and general contracting projects have been completed, many of which have won national, provincial and ministerial outstanding design awards. Also, the design level and technical strength have steadily taken the lead in China.

The environmental protection division relies on TSIC’s Metallurgical Industry Design Class A, Construction Industry Design Class A, Engineering Consultation Class A, pressure piping design, project cost consultation, and project supervision comprehensive qualifications, etc. Dedicating to providing our customers from domestic to abroad with engineering design as the center, as well supporting the procurement, construction, commissioning and other full-process professional engineering and technical services.

◢ Product and Performance

The technical products of the Environmental Protection Department include: particulate treatment of flue gas, desulphurization and denitrification of flue gas, waste heat utilization of blast furnace slag water, sintering waste heat recovery unit, dust removal of blast furnace gas, dust removal from converter gas, ventilation and air conditioning of buildings, etc.

Relying on the comprehensive environmental treatment project of Tangsteel Plant, in the area of creating a green and ecological iron and steel enterprise, the Environmental Protection Division formed a full-process dust-removing measure which used for the steel production process. The department has a wealth of theory and practical experience in the classification, diagnosis, optimization and reform of the dust removal system. It also absorbs advanced engineering particle control technology and forms a unique design concept and design style. It can provide a fine particle solution for the owners, control particulate pollution to the limit, and help steel companies to achieve the aim of green production.

 Flue gas desulfurization and denitrification

For the characteristics of iron and steel enterprises, the environmental protection department has accumulated a wide range of flue gas desulphurization and denitrification solutions for dry flue gas desulfurization + oxidation denitrification, dry desulfurization + SCR denitrification, and active coke integrated desulfurization and denitrification to provide a full range of Supporting services. And through a wealth of engineering design, operation and practice accumulation, it has formed a number of demonstration projects.

Ⅲ  Waste heat utilization of Blast Furnace flushing water

The waste heat is recovered from the slag water, which makes the wastewater from the blast furnace convert into treasure. The residual heat can meet the needs of the heating bath in the plant area and the technology is widely used in China.

Sintering waste heat coaxial unit

The steam generated by the sintering waste heat recovery device is used to drag the main aeration blower, which simplifying the original huge system of the main exhaust fan and waste heat power generation, so that the motor driving the main aeration fan can reduce the current and save energy, and can effectively reduce the sintering process energy. And reducing the consumption of the production costs of the entire steel plant.

 Blast furnace gas dust removal

The environmental protection division has domestic leading design technologies for dry dust removal of blast furnace gas. Through the repeated practice of domestic and foreign projects, the concentration of gas dust can be reduced to less than 5 mg/Nm3 to improve the quality of gas recovery. In addition, the environmental protection division has a proprietary technology of nitrogen blowback devices, which can extend the life of the filter bags by 1-2 years under the same conditions and save 15-20% of nitrogen consumption.

Ⅵ  Converter gas dust removal

The environmental protection division has rich experience in the design and renovation of converter gas dust collection. Especially in the wet method transfer to dry method of dust removal design of old factory converter gas. It has accumulated a large number of highly efficient, energy-saving, environmental protection, short implementation cycle transformation experience. The dust concentration of purified gas recovered can reach below 10mg/Nm3, and the net gas can be directly used by the user after entering the cabinet. The converter gas dry dedusting system has low resistance and low energy consumption, which is about 1/3 of that of the wet dedusting system. The purified gas has a low concentration of dust, no need wastewater treatment equipment, and use a small footprint.

The environmental protection division has mature and advanced design capabilities in the warming of the public and civil building. It has successively undertaken a great number of large and medium-sized building heating, ventilation and air-conditioning design projects and has been widely recognized by the owners.
